The Brown Palace christens the 2012 holiday season with its 25th annual Champagne Cascade. Master Swordsman and Ambassador Bernard Ganter will sever the necks of bottles of Moet & Chandon Champagne in true Napoleon-style with an antique saber. Afterwards, it will be poured into the topmost glass of a 6,000-glass pyramid that rises nearly two stories. A sparkling cascade will flow down the sides of the crystal pyramid as the gathered crowd watches.
