Guided historical tours recounting interesting anecdotes about the general history of The Brown Palace Hotel are offered every Wednesday and Saturday at 3 p.m. Tours are approximately 1h 15min in length and cost $10 per person. Children must be 10 years of age or older. Reservations are required. Public Tours are complimentary to all overnight hotel guests. Reservations can be made through the hotel concierge at ext. 3404. Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate groups of 5 or more due to limited space. Please refer to the private tour information below for larger groups. Please note, All public tours during the month of February will be the Affairs of the Heart Tour.
Private Tours are offered for large groups or anyone who wishes to schedule a tour outside the regular Public Tour time. Parties of 5 or more must book a private tour due to limited space on the public tours. Private Tour max is 20 people. Children with school groups must be 10 years of age or older. Reservation requests must be made a minimum of one week in advance. A hotel representative will check the availability of your requested date and time and will contact you to confirm availability or assist in making arrangements for an alternative day/time. Advance payment is required to confirm a private tour. Private tours are offered Monday- Saturday 10 am until 5 pm. We recommend the General Hotel history tour for all for first time tour guests. For those already familiar with the hotels history you can choose from one of our themed Private Tours. Choose from Ghost, Architectural, Romance, Presidential or Ladies of The Brown.
Private Tour Pricing
There is a minimum fee of $50 for groups of 1-5 people. $10 will be added for each additional person after that. Private Tour max is 20 people.
