We are delighted to announce Palace Arms as a recipient of an OpenTable’s Diner’s Choice Award. The Diner’s Choice Awards recognizes the 100 best restaurants for service in the United States based on guest feedback. The Palace Arms at The Brown Palace not only made the list, but was also singled out as one of the top ten restaurants on the list that provide the very best service experience.

Recently celebrating our 120th anniversary, we are also welcoming a new chef and new culinary offerings to Palace Arms under the leadership of Chef Justin Schreiber. Five-Course Heitz Cellars Wine Dinner on March 13 at Palace Arms

With the winter chill top-of-mind, it’s the perfect time of year to cozy up with great friends, good wine and a sumptuous meal. Warm up by joining us at The Brown Palace for a five-course dinner prepared by Executive Chef Justin Schreiber and his team, featuring wine selections and pairings from Heitz Cellar. The evening will begin in our lobby at 6:00 p.m. for appetizers, the first wine pick, and conversation with wine experts before continuing into our signature restaurant, Palace Arms, at 7:00 p.m.

Presidents’ Day Weekend Activities in Denver

Did you know that every U.S. President has visited The Brown Palace Hotel since Teddy Roosevelt (1905), with the exception of Calvin Coolidge and Barack Obama? Spend this Presidents’ Day weekend feeling like the Head Of State with the luxury accommodations here at The Brown Palace and, of course, a few outings in Denver to occupy your time.

Stay at The Brown. Honor this nation’s great leaders by staying in one of our hotel’s suites named for its presidential residents: Eisenhower Suite, Reagan Suite, and Teddy Roosevelt Suite. The Brown Palace Welcomes Michael Wright as Executive Sous Chef

We are very proud and excited to announce the promotion of Michael Wright to Executive Sous Chef at The Brown Palace Hotel & Spa.

From the age of 15, Chef Wright’s passion for food put him on a successful culinary path that lead to his most recent promotion to Executive Sous Chef here at The Brown Palace Hotel & Spa. He began his career in kitchens of local restaurants in Minnesota and went on to graduate from Le Cordon Bleu in 2004. After graduation, Chef Wright joined The Brown Palace Hotel & Spa team as an intern. Since then, he’s learned all aspects of the dining experience at The Brown Palace by working as banquet chef, Chef Tournant, and most recently as the chef at Ellyngton’s.

“I’ve learned through my years that you can learn something for yourself with every person that you meet,” said Wright. “Respect all of your ingredients and use them to the fullest.”
