The best cocktail in Denver, Colorado is one that combines elements of Colorado pride: bourbon and honey. We searched far and wide for premium bourbon for The Brown cocktail recipes and settled on one distilled in the highest distillery in the United States at 9600 feet, Breckenridge Bourbon. Next we infuse the bourbon with honey from our prized rooftop bee colony for 24 days in hand-crafted barrels of White Oak from Missouri. Join us at The Brown for one of our honey infused bourbon cocktails or mix this signature recipe in your own home bar.
2 oz Honey Bourbon
1/4 oz sweet vermouth
1/4 oz simple syrup
3 dashes orange bitters
Bourbon soaked cherries
Muddle one bourbon soaked cherry. Add all other ingredients with fresh ice in a rocks glass. Stir 25-30 times. Strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with a bourbon-soaked cherry.
Cheers to the best cocktail with American pride!

Scrape sides of bowl well. Line a cookie sheet pan with parchment paper. Using a pastry bag, pipe mix to the size of a nickel onto parchment paper. Bake in 350-degree oven until lightly browned. Remove from oven, let cool and serve.
