Planning Your Denver Comic Con Experience

Now just a day away, Denver Comic Con 2018 promises to be a can’t-miss event for pop culture enthusiasts of all ages. Held at the Denver Convention Center, this three-day extravaganza is independently produced by Colorado-based nonprofit Pop Culture Classroom, which promotes pop culture-based education for all.

The Denver convention will offer over 600 hours of unique programming and activities to delight both first-timers and annual attendees alike. Set to be the biggest DCC to date, this year’s event will include 160,000 square feet of shopping, an Artist Valley with over 400 artists and writers, a PCC Kids’ Lab, and more.

Featuring two main stages and 25 session rooms, the convention will also host renowned industry professionals across a series of panels, workshops, and demonstrations. Those eager for a few celebrity sightings will not be disappointed, as a number of big names are scheduled to appear, including cast members from the hit Netflix series Stranger Things.

Of course, one of the most visible appeals of the DCC—and any comic con, really—is the cosplay. The Cosplay Canyon at DCC will include cosplay-related vendors, activities, programming, and a photo stage, all in one location. Attendees are welcome to dress up as their favorite characters, or simply stop by the Canyon to appreciate the creative costumes.

As a top hotel near Denver Convention Center, The Brown Palace offers Downtown Denver accommodations, delicious on-site dining, and other amenities to add a touch of luxury to your 2018 DCC experience.
